Ricostruire significa prendersi cura delle persone.
Quando si parla di guerra si pensa subito alle città da ricostruire.
Ma le ferite più profonde sono quelle che restano nelle persone, soprattutto nei bambini.
È da questa consapevolezza che nasce SolidaRoad 2026: un progetto europeo di cooperazione che unisce Italia, Ucraina e Slovacchia per accompagnare bambini e ragazzi oltre le conseguenze della guerra, costruendo insieme nuove opportunità di crescita, relazione e futuro.
Rebuilding means caring for people.
When we think about war, we often think about destroyed cities and damaged buildings.
Yet the deepest wounds are often the ones carried by people, especially children.
This is the vision behind SolidaRoad 2026: a European cooperation project that brings together partners from Italy, Ukraine and Slovakia to support children affected by war, helping them rebuild relationships, confidence and hope for the future.
Un progetto che guarda oltre l'emergenza
SolidaRoad non è una risposta temporanea.
È un percorso di 24 mesi che mette in rete enti pubblici e organizzazioni del Terzo Settore per sostenere i bambini più vulnerabili attraverso attività educative, supporto psicologico, accompagnamento delle famiglie e formazione degli operatori che ogni giorno si prendono cura di loro.
Looking beyond the emergency
SolidaRoad is not a short-term response.
It is a 24-month project that connects public institutions and third-sector organisations to support vulnerable children through educational programmes, psychological care, family support and professional training for those who work with them every day.
Un progetto che continua tutto l'anno
La colonia terapeutico-educativa di Lignano Sabbiadoro è una delle azioni di SolidaRoad.
Durante tutto l’anno il progetto prosegue direttamente in Ucraina con attività educative, psicologiche e sociali, costruendo una rete di relazioni che continua ben oltre il soggiorno estivo.
A project that continues throughout the year
The therapeutic and educational summer camp in Lignano Sabbiadoro is one of the actions within SolidaRoad.
Throughout the year, the project continues in Ukraine through educational, psychological and social activities, creating a network of support that extends far beyond the summer experience.
Molto più di un aiuto
I protagonisti del progetto sono 50 bambini e ragazzi della Transcarpazia, tra cui minori che hanno perso il padre a causa della guerra, bambini con disabilità e ragazzi che vivono situazioni di trauma o forte fragilità sociale.
Ma SolidaRoad guarda ancora più lontano. Il progetto favorisce infatti la collaborazione tra professionisti italiani e ucraini, condividendo competenze educative e buone pratiche a sostegno del percorso di deistituzionalizzazione, affinché sempre più bambini possano crescere in contesti familiari e comunitari capaci di accompagnarli nel tempo.
More than direct support
The project involves 50 children and young people from Transcarpathia, including children who have lost their fathers because of the war, children with disabilities and young people experiencing trauma or severe social vulnerability.
But SolidaRoad goes further.The project also promotes cooperation between Italian and Ukrainian professionals by sharing educational expertise and best practices in support of Ukraine’s deinstitutionalisation process, helping more children grow up in family and community-based environments whenever possible.
La cultura come ponte
Ad inaugurare SolidaRoad 2026 è OLTRE I CONFINI – Beyond Borders, il tour del National Honored Academic Transcarpathian Folk Choir.
Attraverso la musica, il progetto desidera creare occasioni di incontro tra le comunità italiane e ucraine, perché la cultura può avvicinare le persone, generare dialogo e costruire ponti che vanno oltre ogni confine.
Building bridges through culture
SolidaRoad 2026 begins with BEYOND BORDERS, the concert tour of the National Honored Academic Transcarpathian Folk Choir.
Through music, the project creates opportunities for Italian and Ukrainian communities to meet, discover one another’s cultures and strengthen the bonds that connect people beyond geographical borders.
Un futuro che si costruisce insieme
Ogni bambino ha diritto a crescere sentendosi accolto, protetto e parte di una comunità .
È questo il significato di SolidaRoad 2026. Perché ricostruire non significa soltanto ricostruire luoghi. Significa prendersi cura delle persone.
